The TeamSHANE WOODSON
Shane Woodson, 36, was born and raised in Louisville Kentucky. He is a lateral descendant of the great film director D.W. Griffith (1917’s Intolerance). Shane is an award winning filmmaker, producer, director and successful actor. In 1998, he directed the Pulitzer-Prize nominated play The Dodge, a play that his father, novelist Joseph Woodson Oglesby, wrote and produced. In 1999, Shane relocated to Los Angeles. Since his arrival, he has had many roles in Commercials, Television, and Film. To date, he has starred or co-starred in over 16 motion pictures, including the 20th Century Fox comedy, Johnson Family Vacation, with Vanessa Williams and Cedric the Entertainer. He co-starred in the Indie thriller Strange Fruit, starred in the action feature Road of No Return with David Carradine and Michael Madsen, and played a recurring role on the NBC soap Passions. He spent 4 + years of exhausting work, bringing the underground hit comedy Cain and Abel, which co-stars rap icon Flavor Flav, from a mere idea and into worldwide profitable distribution. He was lead actor, director, and producer of the film. He recently had supporting roles in the Indie drama Take, with Minnie Driver, Zodiac with Robert Downey Jr., and Resident Evil: Extinction with Milla Jovovich.
